Summer is gone and the days are really drawing in as the distinct feel of autumn makes its presence felt. Children are back at school and settling in to their new classes - and I am raring to get going again!
Later this week I'm taking a trip to collect a stock of books from my publisher in readiness for a few signing sessions.
My first school visit involves a trip across the Pennines to Doncaster, where Castle Hills Primary School is hosting a More Able Writers' Day for Year 5 and 6 children from local schools. I had a great day at this school last May. Some great stories ahead!
